Automotive Third Party Leads

Third party leads has been a thriving business for the last ten years or more. The concept in the early years was a great one as someone had the forethought to place ads on Yahoo, AOL, MSN etc.. Capturing an unsuspecting audience searching for vehicles via the Internet. In doing so that lead generator would capture names, telephone numbers, addresses and e-mail addresses and then sell that information to dealerships in different market areas. These leads would and still today sell from $6.00 to $35.00 per lead. Creating a huge income for the lead generators, which in turn made them hungry for more, hence more ads, more leads generated.Sound great right? Someone smart enough to generate these leads for the automotive industry. Certainly someone had to do it as the automotive industry IE: The automotive manufactures and dealers did not believe in the internet nor did they have expertise or enough knowledge to make it work for them. So in retrospect dealer’s started purchasing these leads from lead generators. In doing so they (dealers) have hurt themselves and the bottom line they work off of everyday.Let me explain: Currently this is how it works; lead generator places ads via search engines or pay per click campaigns or natural search. When these ads are placed they are placed right next to or above or beneath the dealers and manufacturer ads many times with the dealers name right in the header of the ad, an internet surfer clicks on the ad and walks through the website and submits information that is asked for. That information is then sold to other marketing firms for resale to dealers and that information is also sold to dealers direct. This pour soul that just submitted his information so he could collect information or maybe he was promised something for submitting that information but never the less his personal name, telephone number, e-mail addresses has just been sold to as many firms as the lead generator can find to buy it. This person’s identity has just been raped and they do not even know it until all the telephone calls and emails start pouring in over the next couple of days.So what has happened is the dealer has finally purchased a lead that he probably could have generated themselves, not only that they would have made more gross as the consumer would have been less informed by so many other dealers, because most dealers think it is all about price. If you are an automotive dealer, and you purchase third party leads, you could be spending thousands of dollars that could be spent name branding your dealership and getting you online leads from your own website. You are also feeding the company’s that advertise your new vehicles for less than what you want to sell them for, such as “buy below invoice” do you want your customer expecting that? Or how about “distressed dealers selling for less than cost” You should really take a look at what your online competition is doing to your market. Know this: the lead generators don’t care less what your vehicles sell for, why should they? One company selling leads will say we only sell to one dealer in this market, what they do not tell you is they purchased that lead from someone who will sell it as many times as they can. They might tell you they have scrubbed these leads and have to charge you more for that scrubbing process. Like they say “buyer beware”

Choosing the Right Automotive Services for Your Vehicle

Your car is one of the most expensive items you own, and you need it to start every day in order for your life to go on. Taking care of your vehicle is important, so there are many automotive services available to keep your ride in the best condition possible. Choosing a company to care for your car is important as well, so make sure you look for a few key things.ExperienceCompanies that have a lot of experience changing oil, rotating and aligning tires, repairing broken lines and hoses, and performing other maintenance tasks will do a good job of taking care of your ride. Only work with a business that is proud of their combined skills and years of experience working on problems that are similar to yours. Many companies list accomplishments and awards on their walls so their customers can see them.Quality PartsA repair shop should only use quality parts with manufacturer’s guarantees. You don’t want to get stuck with replacement parts that fail on you or quickly break. A business should be willing to tell you who manufactures their parts, and whether those parts are certified for used auto stores. If they don’t, they may be hiding information from you. Some less-than-reputable repair shops will remove an old or malfunctioning part from one vehicle just to install it in the next one that comes into the shop!Customer ServiceThe auto services company that will properly care for your vehicle will also treat you with respect. So keep an eye on how they treat you, and their other customers, when you visit their shop. Are they respectful and informative, or do they only give you vague answers? Are they willing to answer all your questions? Do their other customers look frustrated or annoyed? Of course, taking a car to the shop is often a stressful experience, so it doesn’t necessarily mean anything if the customers there look a little harried. If the customer service is subpar, though, that could be an indication that their work will be, too.ReputationEvery car repair shop has a reputation, and the same goes for the automotive services they provide. You want to choose a shop that has a great reputation for listening to their customers, charging a fair and honest rate that’s in-line with their estimate, and performing quick and long-lasting repairs. You can look up any company’s reputation online by viewing reviews from their current and past customers. When seeking automotive services, there are many things you should keep in mind. A comfortable waiting area, friendly customer service, a positive reputation, and the use of quality car parts are all things you should look for before you let anyone look under the hood of your ride. Your car deserves quality care, so make sure you choose the right automotive services business.

Comparison Between Automotive Oil and Motorcycle Oil

Oil is quite essential for the smooth functioning of engines in both motorcycles and automobiles. However, there are different types of oils which have different types of viscosities and it should be chosen accordingly. In the past, engine oils used in cars and motorcycles varied hugely due to various factors. Nowadays, both cars and motorcycles are manufactured with revving engines that can use automotive oil without any bad effects.Motorcycle oil Vs Automotive OilAlthough both these can be used in bikes, the engines of both cars and cycles function differently and require oils which are specifically formulated for these engines. Compared to the car engine and bike oils are expensive. Most of the motorcycles include some important factors which enable better performance and durability of the motorcycles. Car oil is quite inexpensive compared to bike. Some of the major differences between these two types is elaborated below.Viscosity: Compared to the automotive and bike is thinner even though both these oils are classified under the same viscosity. This is made thinner so that it provides better and easier lubrication for small internal parts in the motorbikes.Price: It is quite expensive compared to car oil as it is highly refined. Bike oil is thoroughly refined so that it provides better lubrication and passes easily through small internal components in the vehicle. As it requires an extended refining process, it is quite expensive than the standard types of engine oil. However, it is important to purchase motorcycle oil for vehicles as it guarantees better performance and higher durability of the engines.Reduction of heat: In comparison to the automotive oil, this oil is designed to reduce the amount of heat generated in the internal parts of the engine. Moreover, heat is generated in focal points in these engines compared to car engines.Specifically formulated oil: As compared to cars, bikes require specifically formulated one as oil breaks down faster in bikes due to the continuous meshing of gears. So all the motorcycle oils are designed and formulated specifically for bikes.Different additives: Automotive do not contain additives which are present in motorcycle oils. Various types of additives such as PTFE or Teflon are included in these to reduce excessive heat and friction. This is coated onto the gears of the vehicle.Friction: The engine oils used in bikes helps to reduce friction and thereby prevents clutch slippage. It can therefore be used effectively in vehicles with oil-wet clutches. But car engine seldom can be used to reduce slippage or friction. However, when exposed to extreme pressure and heat, both these types of engine oil breaks down which further causes thinning of the oil. It then fails to lubricate the engines effectively.Today with technological developments in various fields, different types of engine oils are made available quite easily in most of the online stores. Synthetic oil is another type of automotive oil used in most of the vehicles today.
